April 28, 2013:

To the Readers of “Our Liberty, Under God”

Thank you for your readership!

Over the past three months, I have learned a lot about how this medium works; its positive aspects and its frustrations.  There are plenty of both, but, with the LORD’s blessings and Providence, I am learning my Webmaster duties, and wearing all the other hats that come with the work!

You may have noticed that I made several other changes in the Menu Tab Sections a few days ago.  I have more sections planned, and hope to get to them soon!

Many times, I’ve wanted to publish a short comment or message without automatically replacing the current Post on the Home Page with such communications.  Each would have become the only entry on the Home Page as a Post that would stay there until the next one is published.  At that point, it would just move to the Posts Section in the sidebar, but, I wanted to keep them separated and more readily available on the site.

I finally realized that if I shifted all the Menu Tab Pages and their “Children” (sub-pages) to the right, I could make this location a permanent section for such entries.

So, I hope this new feature will make your experience on “Our Liberty, Under God” easier, while keeping you informed of comments, announcements, activity, and updates.

Structurally, this Menu Tab will be the Parent Page for Child Pages; one child will be for a running LOG of COMMENTS and ANNOUNCEMENTS; the other two, running LOGS of original Blog Post and Menu Page publication dates and “last edited” dates.

The ACTIVITY Pages will include entries for every Post and Page when it is first published.  If updates/edits are necessary, I will log the dates accordingly.

This way, if you have read a particular Post or Page, and I need to make a meaningful change to it – which has happened – you can read the log and know if it occurred later.

I will add new publication titles at the top of each list.  The oldest title is at the bottom of the list, and the page will grow from the bottom up.

Please feel free to leave me a comment, suggestion, or question on this or any other page on the site!  Or, send me an E-mail message.  Sometimes Life interferes with my promptness in receiving and replying to messages, but, the LORD willing, I do so as soon as possible!
