SOME CHARACTERISTICS OF INDUSTRIAL WIND ENERGY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Wind energy is intermittent and unpredictable at best.\u00a0 Industrial Wind Turbines (IWTs) can only generate electricity that must be transmitted instantaneously to customers forcing other supplies off the lines and requiring instantaneous resumption when the wind stops.\u00a0 This intermittency must be compensated by back-up fossil fuel, usually gas-fired plants.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Because existing and newly required fossil fuel plants must be always ready to ramp-up or down dependent upon the variations of the uncontrollable wind – there is NO reduction in CO2, and some actual increases!<\/span>\u00a0 IT’S<\/span> NOT<\/em> <\/span><\/span>GREEN!!!<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Under-productive in weather conditions and time of day that require more electricity.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Over-productive when less is needed, but the utility still has to pay for energy it cannot use!<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Abysmal efficiency = EXORBITANT PRICES TO RATEPAYERS.<\/span>
    \n<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Ratepayers, businesses and residences alike must pay ever-increasing rates to subsidize it.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Multiple methods of extorting money from taxpayer and ratepayers are sucking us dry in an already precarious economy.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  9. A 2.2 MW turbine tower uses about a thousand (1000) gallons of oil to function.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  10. A Wind Power Plant requires grid electrical power to run the facility and reportedly to “jump-start” the turbines!\u00a0 [Some reports say Liquid Propane is used to jump-start them.]<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  11. NET JOB LOSS and weakened economy.\u00a0 Spain is the first example of economic destruction by Industrial Wind Energy.\u00a0 Two jobs lost for every one wind energy job created.<\/span>

    IT DOES NOT<\/em><\/span> REDUCE CO2 EMISSIONS!
    \nIN FACT, IT CONTRIBUTES TO KEEPING THEM HIGH

    A Displaced-Refugee Victim of Wind Turbine Syndrome, my adrenal glands were nearly destroyed by toxic Infrasound generated by IWTs sited 11.25+ MILES from my home!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    The most damage to health is caused by 1MW-rated and larger IWT<\/span>s.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    IWTs are now available in\u00a0 6MW-rated capacity, mega-monstrosities; with 10MW in sight.\u00a0 2.2MW IWTs<\/span> are about 500 feet tall.<\/span>\u00a0 Imagine the size at 6MW, or 10MW!!!<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    Efficiency does not increase with size or quantity,
